Yellow Raincoat

Bowie Martyr and united artists

The yellow raincoat became a symbol of resistance after a protester fell to his death from the scaffolding of the Pacific Place in Admiralty, Hong Kong. He wore a yellow raincoat with the words ‘Police are brutal, Carrie Lam Kills Hong Kong’ and carried a banner with demands of the protesters. The protester was hailed as the first martyr of the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill Movement.
